Our first rehearsal for the Spring season begins this Friday, Jan 5th, at 7:00 PM. Rehearsals are every other Friday (Jan 5, Jan 19, Feb 2, etc.). Concerts will be Apr 19 (off week) and Apr 26 (normal week). That give us just 8 rehearsals!
Music for this season will include:
Beethoven – Egmont Overture
Stravinsky – Finale from Firebird Suite (Conducted by Lee)
Chesnokov – Salvation is Created
Whitney – Variations on a Theme by Handel
Aaron Copland – An Outdoor Overture (Not available to download yet)
TBA – An arrangement featuring bagpipes.
Please do the following:
1. Print your music
Egmont: There are some simplified parts. You may use these, or the originals.
Firebird: FINALE ONLY. The file contains the whole suite, you only need to print the Finale.
2. Bring your instrument.
3. Bring a music stand. If you don’t own one, we have a couple spares.
4. Bring a pencil.

Don’t worry if the music looks too hard or intimidating. We have ways to simplify parts, or just play the passages that you are able. COCO focuses on fun and improvement, and welcomes players of all skill levels.
