About

The Central Ohio Community Orchestra (COCO) is a no-audition, free orchestra for players of all ages and skill levels. COCO is the perfect place for people who are dusting off their old instruments after a few years (or decades), students who want a bit more group experience, or any musician who wants to play in a low-stress atmosphere. We meet every other Friday and have three concert seasons. In the spring, we focus on orchestral art music repertoire, playing works by baroque, classical, and romantic composers. In the summer we play a pops concert featuring modern music, popular music, and themes from TV and movies. In the winter we play Christmas and other seasonal holiday music. So bring your instrument, and play with COCO!

COCO is not religiously affiliated, and welcomes people of all backgrounds and belief systems. However, we do rehearse at a church — a space which has been graciously donated to us so that we can keep COCO free for all participants. We have been asked to allow a member of the church to provide a prayer, and respect this wish. If this makes you uncomfortable in any way, just show up a few minutes late.
